The synthesizer unlike the other instruments in its category is the first chameleon of the music world. Instead of creating its own distinct sound, the synthesizer alters the sound waves to create a potentially infinite number of sounds.
The Moog Modular is the synthesizer developed by Robert Moog. The Moog Modular was introduced in 1964. Other synthesizers were in existence prior to this. However the most significant difference was the presence of a keyboard. Once the ease of use was demonstrated, the rest was history.
The Beatles used this instrument to create their then future forward music. Experimenting with sound manipulation and other trendsetting tunes set the course of music and is part of what made The Beatles legendary.
